[Action]

[It's been a while since Valentine's, and he's noticed the people he knows have been awfully quiet since then. He's been pretty quiet himself, perhaps a little embarrassed even, over his reaction to the holiday, almost thankful that the calls he was sending were either going through to voicemail or just not being picked up.

That was until he got to Alfred's number. Alfred was never too busy to pick up, or respond quickly after missing a call, he'd learnt that already, but now... He couldn't even get through to the number, listening to the automated message a few times before the reality of the situation could sink in. Alfred was gone.

He'd gone home... Before him.

That was.... That was just, just... unfair.

He tried a few more times to get through, moving onto text when audio was obviously getting him nowhere, trying to get a grip on what exactly he was feeling, the emotion confusing at best; Part of him was glad the other was gone, back to where they belonged (hopefully) and wasn't stuck in this hole like the rest of them, while another part of him was furious that Alfred, who had only just got here, had gotten out so easily- was making friends the way out or something? Hit a quota and you were spat out? It wouldn't surprise him in this place- it was just as stupid as Alfred was.

He let his fingers slow from the rabid button mashing they'd kept to, sending out one last message to the populace before throwing the gear away from him- the urge to try calling the blonde one last time was still tingling in his fingers, swallowing down the other emotion that was lingering at the corners of his mind... There was no point getting upset the other man was gone, not now.]

Alfred is gone. Good riddance.

[If you need him, he'll either be in Rocket HQ ~~sulking~~ thinking, or just walking around town, trying to get out of his glass case of EMOTIONS.]

[Well, with having both his legs again, of course China was getting a lot of walking done, more than he usually did. A month and a half of being handicap was too much for someone like him. Lo and behold who he was approaching from the opposite direction.]

Mr. Alfred is gone?

[There goes any one of his friends. It had for Billy it seems like any one he's close to seems to go away.]

I wouldn't speak so soon if he was he once he'll likely come back again.

[Killua was in a oddest moods lately. Even after Valentine's. He felt like he needed to connect with more people. Lose was oddly the easiest to work with.]

[He'll calm down a little though after a few minutes to type out another message.]

[The fact that, even if he got home, he could still be sucked back into this technicolour monstrosity sends a slightly pathetic ebb through him, halting his message for a moment before continuing.]

People come back? Am hoping he does not return.

Yep ,people come back all the time, it's just a matter of when most of time.

This has happened before but it even itself out. WIth people either coming back, we get an influx of newbies or both.

I've seen a friend of my come back several times already during those times.

[He's a bit stuck on what to say next. It would be stupid to ask how he was doing considering the situation, so he just looks down at his feet. Though, he wondered what was going through the other's head upon seeing him dressed in Western clothes: jeans, a black jacket over a white shirt, black boots. Especially since he used to detest the Westerners so much back then. Technically, he still did deep down, he had just grown to tolerate them.]

Tried to get hold of him. Got nothing but recorded message informing number is longer existing.

[He sends the message, taking a few minutes to think before sending the add on;]

America leaving hurts more than it should.

[He's truthful about that too.]

Is any connections as to why people leave and reappear?

[He really wants this whole 'magical world that kidnaps people' to start making sense soon, because this whole getting used to people only to have them disappear is really going to start playing on his brain's overly enlarged paranoia centres soon.]

[France sighs, his face grim although Russia can't see him.]

The way people suddenly disappear from this place makes their absence intensely jarring. There's no way to predict it or control it.

I'm going to miss him greatly, too.

No idea I've been trying to figure that out for months. Only one thing that sort of makes sense. It seems that when more than one person from the same place come. More are likely to follow.

The same works in reverse too.

[Killua hasn't seen anyone from back home. It's not helping his sanity one bit.]

[He's a little stuck himself- while he's used to putting up every pretense against the fact, he was actually enjoying Alfred's being here- it made things a little more like home. That was gone now, and he was surprised just how much he missed it.

He moved forward, before really thinking about it, to take the other man's hand, pulling the other closer to him. They'd barely spoken since the train, but the idea of losing Yao, despite what the man had told him about the future, was not an entertaining idea.]

... Alfred is gone.

[He held the other man close for a little while longer, the odd half-embrace just enough to be a comfort, regardless of his overly pretentious, western clothes.]

Do not know when he left but he is gone.

Am not even sure why am missing him. Was constant annoyance.

[Okay, that may have been a bit of a lie, but he was kind of annoying on occasion.]

At least will not have to worry about promise anymore.

[Because yeah, Team Rocket, despite everything, is a pretty cosy gig.]

[He's more interested than he sounds admittedly, but at the moment he is a bit of a 'how does emotion' conundrum.]

You tend to notice things, when you've been here long enough.

[There's a small intake of air from China when he feels himself being pulled close to Ivan. He doesn't return the embrace, but he doesn't fight either... he's not entirely sure what to do, really, so he just stands there. He could feel his face feating up slightly.]

It happens without warning, Yī wàn. It happened to my family, too, about a year ago. People do come back sometimes, but so far my family haven't been among those people. [Even though he has his new family made from friends such as Envy, he still missed his family back home.]

[Harley's skating through the base after a day of scamming Pokemon from ~~NPCs~~ trainers in Goldenrod. Literally skating; she's picked up a pair of roller-skates somewhere. She passes Ivan and backtracks a second later.]

Heyya. Ivan, right?

[She studies him for a moment.]

Y'seem sorta down. You all right?

[ Oh jeez, all of Souji's friends are leaving. This isn't helping how down he's feeling. ]

That explains why he wasn't in his room this morning. I got one of his Pokemon here with me.
